One of the largest banks in Britain, Barclays, has introduced a new rule for responsible gaming. The bank’s customers have been able to block gambling transactions before, but now they will have to wait 72 hours before they can make deposits to play again once they are unblocked. This service has already been used 187,000 times since the quarantine. And in general, the bank has offered gambling deposit blocking since December 2018, and in that time it has been connected more than half a million times. A mandatory 72-hour waiting period was added after customer feedback.
